People can change, since they are not inanimate objects. Douche bags never change. They are, essentially, inanimate objects. Unlike a person, inanimate objects are incapable of reaching a higher state of being. A higher conscience. Douche bags start out full, but eventually become empty inside. Once empty, they are disposed of.
I was sitting around in this mediocre bar in New Bedford with some friends. We were seeing a show by my friend's uncle's ban. After running into former high school classmates (the ones that are still douche bags), and being terribly bored with the band, I wrote the observational rant, shown above, on a napkin. There's more to it. I'll post it if someone wants to read it.

Sometimes I look around my place and I say to myself, "Damn! I wish I had a place to store some of this stuff. If only there was a storage place that was cheap and didn't have stupid advertisements."
As I was exploring the thick jungles of youtube, I discovered this:
What an amazing commercial! It got to the point, was amusing, and shown that Jones' Big Ass Truck Rental and Storage is the best deal in town. I mean, how could anyone refuse a drunk discount sale?
I called the number, but alas, there was no room in voice mailbox. Maybe next time.
Do any of you guys have any youtubes to odd (yet amusing) local advertisements that you would like to share?

You may not be the biggest metal head, or listen to metal at all, but this music video by Brian Posehn is pretty accurate about what is being put out as "metal". Here, check out this video. I promise, it's funny. Not scary and boring like my last post.
Metal by numbers, as Brian calls it. Formulaic and joyless. Much like pop punk. Then again, not every metal band can be like Gorgoroth, Slayer, Emperor, Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir and/or Dethklok. Just to name a few.

After reading an article about Obama's purposed economic stimulus package (which, in my opinion, is just to appease the neo-cons in power), I stumbled upon this youtube video:
After watching it, I'm getting nervous. He's been making these predictions (as far as I know) since 2006 and, so far, he has been completely right. Here, check out this video to see what I mean:
Notice how all those other talking heads are just that. The only one that gives any reasoning to his claims is Peter Schiff. Being a man of science and engineering, I demand sound reasoning and evidence if I am to buy into someone else's claim. Everyone, but Peter, were just making claims with absolutely no reasoning to back them up. Not to mention, all the companies they said for people to buy into died in 2008 (Meryl Lynch, Washington Mutual).
What's your opinion about this, guys? How do you guys feel about this new economic "stimulus" that Obama is purposing?

As always, tag teaming with the esteemed DJ Mothra and DJ ZNUH is so much fun. I am honored that I got to start my birthday off by working with them. They definitely rocked Ceremony hard last night.
Since I'm still recovering from last night, I've run into a bit of writers block. So I'll just end it with this.
I hope all of you accumulate much joy during your holidays.

Aw yeah! Yesterday I went to an audition for a film project that is the first installment of a web-serial called, Apocalypse Fail.
The basic story takes place in a post-catastrophic world, where Joe (the main character) ponders which gang will best serve his interests in this anarchic new environment. Wes, Joe's sarcastic best friend, is helping him with his decision.
I tried out for Wes and I got it! I am super excited for this project! Tomorrow, is the script reading and rehearsal. Filming starts next week. I can't wait!
Stay tuned for more updates on post-apocalyptic fun!

Well, here it is. The new home for my bloggings. From my brain to your eyes.
I have decided to join LJ for two reasons:
1. It appears that every DJ I know has a LJ. If for nothing else, but to post news about up coming gigs and set lists. Being that I love to DJ , I feel that getting a LJ account would be a great way of keeping up with what my fellow DJs are up to.
2. (Almost) no one interacts with myspace blogs. So many of my friends tell me they rarely read blogs on myspace. I like to write up blogs where everyone shares their opinion and interacts with each other. I'm interested in the things you have to say. Don't be shy....
So here we go. A new beginning on LJ. Stay tuned.
Alexan, out.
